Our third annual Omega Retreat at The Depot Lodge in Paint Bank VA (right on the Monroe co WV/VA state line). The depot lodge includes a lodge and a hotel called The Lemon Hotel. Both properties have been restored from an old hotel and train station from the early 1900’s. The property is a bed and breakfast type retreat/resort that is situated on a 7,500 acre buffalo farm.. We had a motivational speaker, chuck stump, and addressed the employees. We fished, hiked, ate fabulous food and a good time was had by all.
We hiked to the Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory on Peters Mountain in Monroe Co., WV. It’s a major bird migratory route for bald eagles, ospreys, red tail and many other types of hawks, and golden eagles. The retreat was May 2,3,4.
